Hi,

My name is Helline Havet [elin.ave]. I am currently associate professor (准教授) in the Department of French literature in Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo (Aoyama campus). I teach linguistics and French.

I wrote a doctoral thesis called "Expressions containing a numeral and a classifier in Japanese: a study of their morphophonological alternations" which I defended in septembre 2024.

I am interested in language change and particularly variationist approaches.

I am also a jazz lover, beer connoisseur, yoga enthusiast and, for now, very humbly level 30 at Elden Ring.
